What is t3 protocol in weblogic (EJB)
Question:What is t3 protocol in weblogic? (EJB)

Answer:T3 is a physical layer (layer 1) protocol, and definitely you don't expect
any browser to recognize it (e.g. TCP is a layer 4 protocol, and HTTP is
running on top of TCP port 80). It's main use is for EJB's communicating.

BEA Weblogic T3 is not a Layer 1 protocol, it is based on TCP and has nothing to do with the old T-carrier Layer1 protocols (named T1, T3 etc.). BEA Weblogic T3 is an optimized variant of the RMI protocol that is used for object serialization and remote method calls.
